SHARON DOUGLAS - CALIFORNIA:
Sylvia came to my hour of need when I lost my older cat to liver disease. I also had a nine month old RagaMuffin, Lucy, who was heart broken without her companion. I spoke with Sylvia and she recommended a male companion and just happened to have one on hand. He was just four months old. We received Uso in early October 2009. He was the perfect match for our family and fit in right away with Lucy and us. He is everything she said he would be. The RagaMuffin breed speaks for itself, but Sylvia's knowledge of the breed and her cats/kittens put her a cut above. She is there anytime I need her. She is a people person, as are her cats, which helps her match us all up so well. She is a gift to us and great spokesperson for the RagaMuffin breed.
Sylvia,
Just wanted to let you know Chelsea is wonderful and we love her more each day.
She is such a joy and is as sweet and loving as you said she would be.
And we have come to terms regarding cutting her nails. Yes, I am God! And she is doing much better now that she knows that.
Have any of your other cats shown an interest in water, i.e. the bathroom sinks/faucets and the shower? She loves to sit on the counter while I'm brushing my teeth and will even step into the sink while I have the water running. And she will walk right into the shower after I get out while the shower floor is still very wet. Just wondered if any of your others did anything similar.
When she goes to bed at night she starts out in the bathroom sink. (see picture) We think when it cools down (if ever) she won't find the sink so comfy.
At any rate, she is the most lovable cat we've ever had. I'm so glad I found you on the internet.

Ragamuffins often love to play in the water. Some will join you in the tub or the shower. My kittens play in their water bowl and I have to put water in a container they cannot turn over. Halima actually drinks with her paw by dipping it into the bowl and sucking out the water from her fur!! Sylvia
These two are still kittens - more growing to come
